Restaurant Stara škola

In northern Istria, in the village of Krasica, a former school building has been repurposed and renovated as a restaurant with a wine-tasting area. It is a simple two-story typology typical of small Istrian towns during the Austro-Hungarian period. The renovation, adaptation, and extension into today’s Stara Škola (La Vecchia Scuola) restaurant were executed so that the difference between the old and new parts is clearly legible - both in spatial arrangement and material selection.
